The Librarian shall assist in the development of an online library
archival and management system.


Job responsibilities

1. Check the existing library resources for broken links, incomplete
resources, and irrelevant or redundant data, removing the like from
the library database.
2. Catalog the remaining library resources according to appropriate
subject areas and other tags (author, title, publisher, date of
publication, etc.)
3. Write brief summaries for each library resource.
4. Catalog all community site materials such as blog articles, forum
discussions, pictures, and videos according to appropriate subject
areas, and other identified tags.
5. Provide technical assistance to the IT Officer in the creation of
an online library search system.
6. Provide technical assistance to the Communications and Community
Learning Manager in the development of guidelines for a management
system that addresses future archiving of library and community site
material.


Education, experience and qualification preferences:

? Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field
? Experience in information archiving, cataloging, knowledge
management, or any equivalent training that provides the required
knowledge, skills, and abilities.
